Treating Acne Vulgaris With Antiandrogens

Summary of research:

The results of hormonal antiandrogen therapy obtained in our group of 12 patients suffering from premenstrualis are reported. The patients with the papulosa, papulopustulosa et indurata were given cyproteronacetate 2 mg and ethinylestradiol 50 micrograms daily between the 5th and 25 days of their menstrual cycle.
